Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha announced the schedule for the Annual Higher Secondary Examinations 2026.
The exams will be held from February 18 to March 21, covering all four streams—Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational—over a span of 22 days.
CHSE Chairman Mrunal Kanti Das informed that practical examinations will be conducted from January 2 to 15. A total of 4,00,737 students have registered for the upcoming exams, and admit cards will be issued on December 15, he added.
To ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the examinations, CHSE has set up over 1,350 examination centres along with 210 exam hubs across the state. The hubs will feature AI-assisted surveillance cameras, while all practical exam centres will be equipped with webcast and live-streaming facilities.
CHSE Controller of Examinations Prasanta Kumar Parida said that two flying squad units will be deployed in each district, with three members in every squad, to strengthen monitoring and curb malpractice during the exams.
