Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre, transferring several senior officials.
An official notification has issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department in this regard.
Girish S.N., currently Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Govemment, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Govemment, Department of Mission Shakti.
He will join after relieving of Shalini Pandit from the State ,Dr. Noonsavath Thirumala Naik, Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority with additional charge of Managing Director, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd. has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Govemment, School & Mass Education Department.
Dr. Naik will join after relieving of Shalini Pandit from the State. Mansi Nimbhal, Director, Tourism with additional charge of Managing Director, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation and Director, Scheduled Tribes has been posted as Managing Director, Odisha Lift lnigation Corporation.
She is allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Secretary to Govemment, Water Resources Department.
Nimbhal will join after relieving of Swadha Dev Singh from the State.
Surendra Kumar Meena, Additional Secretary to Govemment,
Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department with additional charge of Director, State lnstitute of
Rural Development has been appointed as Additional Secretary to Govemment, ST&SC Development,
Minorities & Backwad Classes Welfare Department.
Subhashree Nanda, Additional Secretary to Govemment,
School & Mass Education Department has appointed as Additional Secretary to Govemment, Planning & Convergence Departnent.
Chanchal Rana, Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation is allowed to remain in additional charge of Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority and Managing Director, Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd.
Premjit Nayak, Additional Secretary to Govemment, ST&SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department has been appointed as Director, Scheduled Tribes.
Deepankar Mohapatra, Chief Executive Officer, Hockey Promotion Council, Odisha has been appointed as Director, Tourism.
He is allowed to remain in additional chaqe of Managing Director, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation.
Pranati Chhotray, Managing Director, Boyanika with additional charge of Director, Handicrafts has been appointed as Additional Secretary to Govemment, Home Department.
Nivedita Prusty, Additional Secretary to Govemment, Home Deparhent has been appointed as Managing Director, Boyanika. She is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Handicrafts.
Madhusmita Samal, Additional Secretary to Govemment, Planning & Convergence Departnent has been appointed as Additional Secretary to Govemment, Panchayati Raj& Drinking Water Deparfrnent.
She is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, State lnstitute of Rural Development.
Saniay Kumar Biswal, Manager(Adm), Capital Region Urban Transport has been appointed as Additional Secrctary to Govemment, Commerce & Transport Department.
Kanhu Charan Dhir, OAS(SS), Private Secretary to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti and Tourism is transfened and posted as Director, Minor Minerals.
Dhir will join after relieving of Shri Samarth Verma, IAS from the State.
The changes will take effect from October 13, 2025.
