Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) will convene a critical meeting today at 5 PM to address the controversy over the Digha Jagannath Temple in West Bengal, named as “Digha Jagannath Dham.”
The meeting will be held under the chairmanship SJTA Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee. Key officials like Badagrahis, Maharana, Deula Karan, and Patojoshi Mohapatra are expected to attend the meeting.
The meeting aims to resolve concerns raised by Odisha’s Jagannath devotees. .
Earlier, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan on Friday ordered the SJTA to initiate a probe into the controversy surrounding the newly built Jagannath Temple at Digha in West Bengal.
