Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has taken strong disciplinary action against two of its members for alleged involvement in anti-party activities.
According to an official order issued by the party, Manjulata Mandal, a State Council Member, and Muktikanta Mandal, a party member from Bhadrak district, have been suspended from the party with immediate effect.
The order, released by Pratap Jena, Vice President (Headquarters) of BJD, stated that the action was taken due to their involvement in activities that go against the party’s principles and discipline.
The move reflects the party’s firm stance on maintaining internal discipline and unity.
