Cold Wave and Dense to Prevail in Odisha Districts until January 9 

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted persistent cold wave conditions and dense fog across several districts of Odisha from January 7 to 9, issuing a yellow warning for affected areas.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, dense fog is expected in isolated pockets over Boudh, Nayagarh, Koraput, and Kandhamal districts on January 7. Simultaneously, cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Koraput, Angul, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur.

The cold wave conditions are projected to continue on January 8 and 9 in the same districts: Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Koraput, Angul, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur, the IMD stated.
