Manas Mangaraj Appointed Leader of BJD Parliamentary Party in Rajya Sabha; Sulata Deo Named Deputy Leader & Chief Whip

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced the appointment of new office bearers for its Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha, following the recently concluded biennial elections and the retirement of its sitting Members of Parliament.

In an official communication addressed to Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, BJD President Naveen Patnaik informed that Manas Ranjan Mangaraj has been appointed as the Leader of the BJD Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha.

Further, Sulata Deo has been appointed as the Deputy Leader and Chief Whip of the BJD Parliamentary Party in the Upper House.

The appointments come into effect immediately. The party has requested the Chairman to accord due official recognition to the newly appointed leaders.
