Naveen Expresses Grief over Tragic Air India Flight Crash in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: BJD President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Naveen Patnaik on Thursday expressed profound sorrow over the catastrophic crash of Ahmedabad- London Air India flight with hundreds of people onboard.

“Deeply anguished to learn about the disastrous crash of Ahmedabad- London Air India flight with hundreds of people onboard. My thoughts and prayers are with the families deeply affected in the tragic plane crash”, Naveen wrote on his ‘X’ handle.

A London-bound Air India plane carrying 242 passengers and crew crashed into a residential area (Meghani nagar) moments after taking off at 1:38 p.m. from the Ahmedabad airport this afternoon. Several casualties are feared, as per reports.
