Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Naveen Patnaik has launched a blistering attack on the BJP-led state government, accusing it of repeatedly cancelling recruitment examinations and plunging lakhs of aspirants into uncertainty.
Naveen said the continued cancellations were “shattering the dreams of lakhs of children” across the state.
“Repeated cancellation of exams is crushing the hopes of our students. By scrapping the ANM examination, the BJP government has once again pushed thousands of aspirants into darkness,” he said, expressing strong displeasure over the latest development.
Questioning the government’s administrative capability, the LoP remarked, “How many more dreams will be broken? How long will the future of our children be played with? The continuous cancellation and postponement of examinations exposes the incompetence of the BJP government.”
Highlighting the magnitude of the issue, the BJD President pointed out that nearly 18 recruitment examinations have been cancelled in just 18 months of the current administration.
“What message does the government want to send? Will the aspirations and dreams of Odisha’s youth continue to be destroyed like this?” he asked.
Calling for urgent corrective action, Naveen demanded that the government ensure all examinations are conducted regularly, transparently and without any irregularities.
“The government must wake up and guarantee that every exam is held with fairness, integrity and full accountability,” he added.
