OPTCL Secures ₹1,685 Cr NABARD Loan 

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has signed a Long-Term Loan Agreement with NABARD, securing ₹1,685.27 crore for strengthening the state’s transmission network. As part of the agreement, NABARD will extend the loan at a 7.75% annual interest rate. OPTCL plans to use ₹900 crore for new transmission projects, while the remaining amount will be directed towards swapping high-cost existing loans.
