Bhubaneswar: In a significant development, Rajiv Kumar, Vice President (Operations) at Tata Steel Kalinganagar, has resigned from his position.
Kumar has submitted his resignation to Tata Steel’s Managing Director and CEO, T.V. Narendran.
Rajesh Rajan, Head of Corporate Communications at Tata Steel, informed that Rajiv Kumar has resigned from the post of Vice President (Operations), Tata Steel Kalinganagar.
Tata Steel has not immediately announced a successor or interim leadership for the Vice President – Operations role at Kalinganagar.
The company’s disclosure did not elaborate on any plans for filling the vacancy or on any potential impact the resignation might have on the company’s operations.
Kumar is an alumnus of the reputed BIT Sindri and joined Tata Steel in the year 1990. With years of experience in Tata Steel Jamshedpur as well as in the Wires Division, he was assigned the key responsibility of leading the Tata Steel Project in Kalinganagar. Kumar’s resignation comes at a challenging time for Tata Steel as he played a key role in the success of the Kalinganagar Project and has been a prominent figure within the company. Having served Tata Steel for over 25 years, he has held various important positions and is recognized for his dedication and leadership.
Kumar’s resignation is a significant change in the senior management of Tata Steel’s operations at the Kalinganagar Plant.
