BJD Makes Key Appointments to Its Youth and Student Wings

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik has announced key appointments to strengthen the party’s youth and student wings, aiming to bolster grassroots engagement.

Ipsita Sahu has been named the President of Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), the party’s student wing, with immediate effect.

The new BCJD leadership includes Debesh Acharya as Senior General Secretary (Students Affairs), alongside Debi Ranjan Tripathy, Subhasis Khuntia, and Souvic Biswal as General Secretaries (Students Affairs).

In parallel, Chinmaya Sahu has been appointed President of Biju Yuba Janata Dal (BYJD), the party’s youth wing. The BYJD team comprises Byomakesh Ray as Senior General Secretary (Youth Affairs), with Rajendra Kumar Sahoo, Amaresh Patri, and Sanjit Mohanty appointed as General Secretaries (Youth Affairs), according to the BJD.
