Great Impetus to Primary Education As Odisha Government Issues Notification to Recruit 20000 Junior Teachers

Bhubaneswar: Giving a major impetus to the primary education program in the state, the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha has issued a notification for recruitment of 20000 junior teachers in the state. A notification in this regard has been issued and the application process will start from the 13th of this month. October 10th will be the last date for filling up the application. The teachers will be recruited for the primary and upper primary schools of various districts of the state.

According to the notification, details about the district-wise and category-wise posts will be available on OSEPA’s website at – osepa.odisha.gov.in from today. “Applications are invited from the intending candidates to apply for the post of Junior Teacher (Schematic) through online mode only from 13.09.2023. The last date of submission of the online application form is 10.10.2023. No other mode of application will be accepted. There will be no examination fees,” the notification read.

The notification also says that the candidates will be selected on the basis of marks secured on CBT (Computer Based Test) examination. The syllabus of the CBT examination is available on the OSEPA website. The date, time and examination centre of CBT examination will be mentioned in the admit card of the concerned candidates.
