Congress Appoints New District Presidents in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday announced the appointment of new Presidents for several District Congress Committees (DCCs) in Odisha under its ongoing Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan.

According to a press release issued by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, the appointments have been approved by the Congress President and will come into effect immediately.

The newly appointed District Congress Committee Presidents are Shankar Pradhan (Gajapati),  Dandapani Patra (Ganjam West), Santayan Mishra (Cuttack City) and Abdul Kalim Khan (Boudh).

The move is aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational structure at the grassroots level in Odisha.
