Dr. Ajit Kumar Shasany Appointed Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Odisha

Bhubaneswar/Koraput: The Government of India has appointed Dr. Ajit Kumar Shasany as the new Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Odisha.

According to an official communication issued by the Ministry of Education’s Department of Higher Education, the appointment has been approved by the President of India in her capacity as the Visitor of the Central University of Odisha.

Dr. Shasany, who is currently serving as the Director of CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, will serve as the Vice-Chancellor for a term of five years from the date he assumes office or until he attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
