Odisha: Five OAS Officers Promoted to Special Secretary Rank 

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Wednesday promoted five Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers of the Superior Administrative Grade (SAG) to the rank of OAS (Special Secretary) on an ad hoc basis.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department, Binaya Kumar Dash, Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, has been promoted and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department.

Prafulla Kumar Swain, Additional Secretary, CMGC, has been promoted and posted as Director, PG and ex-officio Special Secretary to Government, GA & PG Department, while continuing to hold the additional charge of Secretary, CMGC.

Ashok Kumar Panda, Additional Secretary, Sports and Youth Services Department, has been promoted and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Sports and Youth Services Department.

Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, Additional Secretary, Energy Department and CEO of OREDA, has been promoted and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Energy Department.

Gauttam Choudhury, Additional Secretary, Steel and Mines Department, has been promoted and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Steel and Mines Department.
