Respite from Heat Wave: Odisha to Witness Rainfall from June 21

Bhubaneswar: In a respite to people from the prevailing heat wave conditions, Odisha will witness rainfall from June 21.

The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Sunday predicted that light to moderate rain is likely to occur in many parts of the state on June 21, while heavy rain is likely in some districts on June 22.

The heat wave condition will reduce from June 20 with drop in day temperature by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius from June 20, the Meteorological Centre said.

However, there would be no respite from the prevailing hot and humid condition for next two days, it added.
