Sevayat Falls Down While Lifting Mahadipa atop Lingaraj Temple

Bhubaneswar: An untoward incident took place during the celebrations of Mahashivratri at the Lingaraj Temple here on Wednesday.

A sevayat fell down while lifting the Mahadipa atop the temple. The sevayat sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital, as per reports.

Another servitor lifted the Mahadipa atop the temple.
