Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Assembly Naveen Patnaik on Thursday criticized the BJP government for taking credit for many achievements of the previous government.
Reacting to the Governor’s speech on the Budget session in the State Assembly, the LoP said, “In the Governor’s address today, this BJP government is trying to take credit for many of the achievements of my government”.
Naveen further said that the government should concentrate on various areas where it is failing like the law and order situation, the rising price rise in essential commodities and unemployment.
The Budget session of the Assembly began today with the Governor’s speech. It will continue till April 5. The annual budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be tabled in the house on February 17.
