Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Naveen Patnaik, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital here, expressed his gratitude to the people of Odisha for their good wishes and prayers.

The BJD President also thanked the excellent care being provided by doctors and hospital staff.

“Thank the people of Odisha for the good wishes. I would like to thank the doctors and medical staff for taking wonderful care of me. I am recovering well and will meet the people soon”, the BJD President said.

In a video message, Naveen said, “I am here in the Sum Hospital. The staff and doctors are taking wonderful care of me. Thank you for your kind wishes. If you want to come and see me, you are more than welcome to come to Naveen Niwas.”

The health condition of the legendary leader has shown significant improvement, as per a medical bulletin issued by the hospital on Monday.

Naveen is feeling fresh and his treatment is continuing, the bulletin added.

Naveen, who was admitted to the hospital on Sunday afternoon due to dehydration, was shifted from the observation room to a cabin on Monday afternoon.
