Naveen Extends Greetings on Odia Journalism Day

Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday extended his greetings to journalists and media professionals on Odia Journalism Day, highlighting the importance of truthful and impartial journalism in society.

Naveen said that truthful and impartial journalism has always played a pivotal role in building a healthy and vigilant society.

Recalling the historic contribution of Utkala Deepika, the first Odia newspaper, he said its publication marked the beginning of a renaissance in Odisha.

“On Odia Journalism Day, I extend my best wishes to every individual who makes journalism meaningful through their dedication and commitment,” he said.
