Odisha Govt Deploys 23 OAS Officers as Executive Magistrates for Smooth Management of Ratha Yatra 2026

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Tuesday appointed 23 senior Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers as Executive Magistrates for the smooth management of the upcoming Ratha Yatra 2026 in Puri.

An official notification has been issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department in this regard.
According to the notification, the officers, who have been deployed to Puri as Officers on Special Duty (OSDs), will function as Executive Magistrates within the local limits of Puri district from June 30 to July 27, 2026.
