Cuttack : The Odisha T20 League 2026 is set to begin on September 18 at the iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, with the final scheduled for September 27.
The 10-day tournament will bring together cricketers from across Odisha, providing established players as well as emerging talents with an opportunity to compete in a high-intensity T20 format.
Six franchises representing different regions of Odisha — Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Kandujhar, Puri, Rourkela and Sambalpur — will compete for the title. The regional representation is expected to add a strong local flavour to the tournament while providing players from across the state an opportunity to test themselves against quality opposition.
The historic Barabati Stadium, one of Odisha’s premier cricket venues and a host to international matches, will serve as the centrepiece of the tournament. The opening match on September 18 will officially mark the start of the 2026 season, while the September 27 final will bring the competition to a close.
Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Secretary Sanjay Behera welcomed the return of the competition and said the association was looking forward to another exciting season at Barabati Stadium.
With six regional franchises, a mix of experienced cricketers and promising youngsters, and the historic Barabati Stadium providing the backdrop, the Odisha T20 League 2026 is expected to offer an exciting 10 days of competitive cricket for fans across the state.
