Sura Routray Returns to Congress

Bhubaneswar: Veteran political leader Sura Routray on Saturday returned to Congress after nine months.

Routray made homecoming after his suspension was revoked by newly-elected Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Bhakta Charan Das.

Routray, a six-time MLA, was very emotional after rejoining the party. He visited the PCC office where he met Bhakta Das and other party leaders.

Notably, Routray was suspended from the party in April last year on charges of indiscipline and anti-party activities.
